• Wet Ingredients:
• 1 cup eggnog
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Preparation:
• Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan:
• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
• Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
• Mix Wet Ingredients:
• In a large bowl, whisk together the eggnog, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
• Combine Dry Ingredients:
• In another bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
• Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures:
• Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
• Add Optional Ingredients:
• If using, gently fold in the nuts and/or dried fruits into the batter.
• Bake the Bread:
• Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
• Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
Cool and Serve:
• Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
• Slice and serve. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with a simple icing for extra sweetness.
