Never had this before but it’s so good! Eating it again tmrw!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk

Preparation:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir just until combined.
6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Variations & Tips
For those who like a bit more of a citrus punch, try adding a glaze on top made from confectioners’ sugar and extra lemon juice. For a festive twist during the holidays, mix in a handful of dried cranberries or blueberries to the batter. If you’re catering to nut lovers, a sprinkle of crushed walnuts or pecans can be a delightful addition.
